During the workshop we will examine fresh mugwort, mint, rosemary, lavender and parsley harvested from the Marble Hill Community Center garden and talk about the plants’ medicinal uses, focusing in particular on their benefits for joint and tendon health. We will explore the meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), make a healing herbal salve for achey joints and craft mugwort moxa sticks, which can be used to perform Traditional Chinese Medicine’s relaxation-inducing moxibustion technique.
