Description
Bronx and NYC Based Community Foodtivist, Natural Foods people Chef and Educator: Yadira Garcia will use her training and expertise to work with Marble Hill Youth using nature, observation, and hands on cooking demonstration for participation in the OSS gardens located in the Bronx’s Marble hill houses. She will curate a nutritious, delicious and educational experience, through the form of workshops, appropriate for youth where they will learn how to prepare their own salsa using produce harvested directly from the garden.
This workshop intends to also develop the sense of self-sufficiency by introducing the idea of circular economies in younger generations.
